Our renowned customers around the world require individual painting systems for coating car bodies, truck cabs, bumpers, agricultural and other machinery. As a specialised engineering firm for painting plant design, we support our customers from the initial concept through the entire planning and realisation process to the completion of the commissioning.
We carry out exciting projects in the field of e-mobility and energy efficiency for our customers in the automotive sector. This is because the transport sector is responsible for around 20 % of CO2 emissions in Germany. In addition, the painting process in a car factory consumes up to 80 % of energy in the form of electricity or natural gas.
That is why we develop efficient painting processes for our customers and support them in the transformation to electromobility and CO2 neutrality.
What are your tasks?
For our customers in the southeast of Germany, you will work with the engineering department to support projects for coating components for the automotive industry and for general industry. From the initial idea until commissioning!

Managing projects with overall responsibility, taking into account deadlines, budget, capacities and customer satisfaction

Communication with your assigned customers, from sales to processing to after-sales

Planning and design of complete paint shops and individual components

preparation of specifications

Support during design discussions with plant suppliers

Carrying out preliminary acceptance tests

Monitoring and analysing the progress of the project from the design phase through on-site assembly to commissioning at our customers

Identifying and assessing risks, as well as introducing and monitoring corrective measures and alternative solutions

Coordination of the interface with the construction / TGA

Presenting project status reports to internal committees and to the customer

Creating reports and documentation
What you should bring:

Completed technician training, technical studies with a focus on process engineering, mechanical engineering, automation technology or surface technology

Several years of professional experience as a project manager, also in related industries

Very good understanding of business processes (development, design, product lifecycle management, etc.)

Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, decision-making ability, confident manner, strong communication skills and persuasiveness

Very good written and spoken German and English
-
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (5%-20%)
